Product Description

FLOJET PUMP - G573205A , AIR DIVEN DIAPHARGM PUMP VITON ELASTOMERS

FLOJET G573205A G57 Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pump – Viton

The FLOJET G573205A G57 Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pump is a compact fluid-transfer pump engineered for handling oil, transmission fluid and differential fluid.

The pump incorporates VITON® diaphragms and check valves, providing excellent compatibility for demanding automotive and industrial fluid-transfer applications. A polypropylene pump body provides a lightweight and corrosion-resistant construction, while Hastelloy® check-valve springs contribute to reliable long-term operation.

The G573205A delivers flow rates of up to 5 GPM (19 LPM) and operates from a compressed-air supply of 20–100 PSI (1.4–6.9 bar). It can self-prime from depths of up to 15 ft (4.6 m), making it suitable for transferring fluids from drums, tanks and other containers.

The exact G573205A configuration features 3/8" (9.5 mm) hose-barb liquid connections and a 1/4" (6.4 mm) brass hose-barb air fitting.

Key Features:

  • High flow from a compact pump: up to 19 LPM (5 GPM).
  • VITON® diaphragm and check valves for demanding fluid-transfer applications.
  • Hastelloy® check-valve springs for durability and chemical resistance.
  • Polypropylene pump body for lightweight, corrosion-resistant construction.
  • Air-operated design eliminates the need for an electrical motor at the pump.
  • Stall-proof design for dependable operation.
  • Low air consumption relative to comparable air pumps.
  • Self-priming up to 4.6 metres (15 ft).
  • Leak-resistant radial seals.
  • Integral mounting design for robust installation.
  • Quick and straightforward connection arrangement.
  • Compact construction suitable for space-constrained installations.

Flojet specifically describes the G57 as having the highest flow rate for an air pump of comparable size, along with stall-proof operation, durable integral mounting, leak-resistant radial seals and low air consumption.

Typical Applications:

The G573205A is intended primarily for:

  • Engine oil transfer
  • Lubricating oil dispensing
  • Transmission fluid transfer
  • Differential fluid transfer
  • Automotive workshops
  • Vehicle service centres
  • Lubrication systems
  • Drum and tank fluid transfer
  • Industrial maintenance operations
  • Fluid dispensing equipment

The manufacturer's G57 catalogue explicitly specifies oil, transmission and differential fluid as the applications for the Viton G573 series.

Why VITON® Elastomers?

The G573205A variant is distinguished by its VITON diaphragm and VITON check valves. This elastomer configuration is intended for fluid applications where chemical and oil resistance are important.

For website wording, I recommend describing it as "Viton elastomers for oil and automotive-fluid handling" rather than making broad claims that the pump is suitable for every chemical. Actual chemical compatibility should always be verified against the fluid, concentration and operating temperature.
