SUPERSEAL PIPE INSERT - 28 MM John Guest
Establishes
a firm connection and improves the dual action seal when attaching a Speedfit
pipe to a Speedfit fitting.
It is
essential to utilize a JG Speedfit superseal pipe insert when connecting a
Speedfit pipe to a Speedfit push-fit fitting. These inserts are crucial for
providing additional support to the pipework, ensuring that the pipe ends
remain perfectly round and reducing any deformation that may occur during
cutting.
The JG
Speedfit superseal pipe insert is equipped with dual O-Rings, offering superior
sealing security compared to a standard insert. The first O-Ring is located on
the stem that is inserted into the pipe, preventing water from within the pipe
from leaking between the inner wall of the pipe and the outer surface of the
insert. The second O-Ring is positioned at the end of the insert, sealing
within the push-fit fitting and creating a barrier between the main pipe and
the push-fit fitting. When superseal inserts are utilized with Speedfit
push-fit fittings, a multi-seal is established, as all push-fit fittings also
feature a primary O-Ring seal.
