Tygon® MPF-300 tubing is a transparent, high-performance polymer that is not formulated with PVC or DEHP; however, trace amounts of DEHP are not regulated. This flexible tubing is intended to serve as a substitute for PVC in medical devices where DEHP plasticizers and leachables are undesirable. Tygon MPF-300 exhibits exceptional bonding strength and is particularly well-suited for applications involving fluid and oxygen administration. Specifically developed for medical uses, Tygon MPF-300 has undergone testing in accordance with various aspects of ISO 10993, including hemocompatibility, implantation, irritation and skin sensitization, systemic toxicity, and cytotoxicity.

The growing concerns in Europe and North America regarding health risks and the environmentally safe disposal of DEHP plasticizers prompted the creation of the MPF product line. Tygon MPF-300 is designed and produced without the intentional incorporation of DEHP.
