Bio-Sil® Precision Tubing
Bio-Sil® Precision silicone tubing has been expertly crafted
by the material specialists at Saint-Gobain Medical, specifically designed for
medical pumping applications. The Bio-Sil range is the culmination of years of
expertise in material science, extensive industry experience, and advanced
manufacturing techniques. As a member of our silicone product family, Bio-Sil
Precision has been engineered to enhance the pumping performance of silicone
tubing, while ensuring a level of repeatability and consistency that is
unmatched by other pump tubing. The formulation of the material is meticulously
controlled to minimize variations in its physical properties. Upon request, we
can provide an 8-point wall thickness measurement, allowing for high
concentricity tubing.
Main Features:
- Platinum-cured tubing.
- 53 Shore A hardness.
- Autoclavable, stable in EtO and gamma radiation.
- Temperature range from -80°F (-62°C) to 500°F (260°C).
- The raw material for the tubing complies with USP Class VI
standards.
- Exceptional dosing accuracy in peristaltic pumps.
