Jabsco DDC Pump for Computer & Electronics Cooling

Using a water cooling system to bring the temperature down for computer CPUs and electronic devices is one of the best methods of temperature control nowadays. If you want your computer or electronics to give their best performance and have a very long life then you need an efficient water cooling system for your computer or electronic device that runs coolant or water all around the parts that cause the heating issues.

Jabsco DDC Pump

Many water-cooled workstations use the DDC model pump.

This pump from Xylem is efficient and one of its features is ECM permanent magnet motor and shaftless spherical motor, the pump is extremely quiet and can run for 50.000 hours at a minimum.

With a compact height of only 38 mm, it fits into most standard PC cases.

As liquid cooling solutions continue to gain traction in the computer industry, pumps have become a pivotal concern for mission-critical machines implementing such systems. To successfully transition from air to liquid cooling systems, small size, low maintenance, similar to that provided by fans, and extended reliability are prerequisites.

Some Features of Jabsco DDC Pump:

  1.  Although the pump is only 2.4″ square, it boasts a 13ft head to provide superior flow rates for today’s most complex liquid-cooled systems.
  2.  Additionally, the pump has a 50,000-hour MTBF (5-year lifetime).
  3. Its unique design incorporates only one moving part: the magnetically driven rotor/impeller spins on a single ceramic bearing, extending its life beyond existing standards.
  4. It plugs straight into any computer power supply through its 4-pin connector and is completely plug-and-play. Due to its compact design and powerful motor, it is ideal for environments with limited space.
  5. Small Footprint: 2.4″ x 2.4″ x 1.5″
  6. This product has an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) of 50,000 hours, which translates into a lifespan of 5 years.
  7. The power supply plugs into the computer power supply, so it’s convenient to use 12 Volts of DC
  8. MP servers and high-end workstations can use the pump with full confidence.
  9. Exceptional performance thanks to its high-pressure characteristics (13 feet of head). It is possible to daisy-chain several processors, chipsets, graphics cards, and hard drives within a single circuit.
  10. The Brushless motor provides quiet operation: 24 to 26 decibels.
  11. 3/8″ (10mm) barb fittings.
  12. Using demineralized water and anti-fungal additives requires no maintenance.
  13. Installation is quick and easy with a neoprene adhesive pad or permanent with screws and grommets.
  14. An ECM-Electronically Commutated Motor drives the pump
  15.  The pump can be operated at variable speeds
  16.  It is available In DC Power

Few things about the DDC pump rotor:

Motors drive rotors and impellers in a stator magnetic field. Rotor and stator surround each other completely. Due to its low height, the pump can be used in tight spaces, as it measures only 1.5″ in height, a little taller than the rotor.

Here are the basic principles of a Spherical Motor:

It differs fundamentally from conventional canned motor pumps because it was invented by Laing. There are only two moving parts in a spherical motor: a hemispherical rotor and an impeller mounted on an ultra-hard ceramic ball. No conventional shaft bearings or seals are used. As a result, bearing noise and seal leaks are eliminated.
